In 2015, Absolent AB acquired Avani Environmental International, Inc. to strengthen our presence in the US market and serve as a platform for planned expansion into North America. Since the acquisition, Avani has operated as an independent entity under the functional management of Absolent, Inc.
Effective January 1, 2020, Avani and Absolent will concentrate our operating activities in one company by the means of a merger.
The “new” company will operate as Absolent Inc. In the course of the merger, the entire business operations of Avani Environmental International Inc. will be merged into Absolent, Inc.
We view this merger as a legal step to further enhance the focus and support that will be given to our valued customers in the Industrial Air market segment.
Any contracts or agreements executed under the name of Avani Environmental International, Inc. will remain in effect according to the term of the agreements. Correspondence related to orders and invoices will change to show this legal change:
